San Diego Weddings on Shelter Island (a perfect choice?)
August is one of the busiest times of year for weddings in Southern California. The weather is perfect, the energy is fun and relaxed, and there are gorgeous locations for beautiful beach weddings up and down the coast. Recently, I had the honor of both coordinating and providing all wedding photography for a client's romantic San Diego wedding on Shelter Island. The weather was, of course, perfect - maybe even a tad hotter than usual for the 12pm wedding, but the timing lent itself to perfect lighing for the beautiful wedding photography that utilized the bay's skyline as its popular backdrop.
The ceremony took place at a quaint and perfectly positioned outdoor ceremony area of the Bali Hai Restaurant, with the afternoon reception just feet away in the restaurant's great event space showcasing the expansive and beautiful bay views.
While coordinating the wedding timeline and ensuring all details were managed and attended to, my staff and I ensured the most memorable moments were captured for the bride and groom. From first looks, to thank you card poses and all signature shots in between, the wedding photos will be a timeless memory of their special day.
